How to Steal a dog

How to steal a dog is a Novel written by Barbara O'Connor but i have read the Korean version translated by Seon hae Shin. This 261 page book is about an 11 year old girl called Georgina (here is her facebook pagehttp://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Georgina-Hayes/147515458641128 i made a few days ago. If you have a facebook, go on it and chack your invites cause i invited everyone in 7N. Please like it!) who's dad runs away from home only leaving her, her mum and her brother a van and a plastic mayonaise bottle. At her school, she only has one friend and one day, she goes to her friend's house and her friend's mum asks her "where do you live?" and she told her mum the truth. However, the mother of her friend didn't like this. She thought that because Georgina is poor, she is also dirty so whenever Georgina touched something, the mother would sanitize it and clean it very hard with a cloth. This was the motivation to Georgina's crime. Georgina didn't want to be treated this way just because she lived in a van. One day, georgina's mum came with good news that she found a house which was cheaper compared to the other houses. It was $300 but they didn't have enough money. Georgina had to get the money somehow but she couldn't apply for a job because she was too young. An idea sprung into her mind when she was walking down an alley and she saw a huge house with a cute dog outside. She knew the dog would make her alot of money. After a few days of planning and preperation, she decided it was time to turn her plan into action. Her plan was to kidnap the dog and keep it in a place for several days which would make the owner to put up posters for a missing dog. Georgina thought that when the owner put up the poster for the missing dog, they would put a reward up for the person who finds the dog. Because the owner was rich, they would put a high price for the reward. Georgina finally got hold of the dog, put it in a building and took care of it for several days until she went to the house where the dog belongs to and tried to persuade them to out up posters and put a reward for finding the dog but it wasn't easy because she soon found ou that the lady who lived there wasn't rich. Only the house was big because her ancestors passed it down. Georgina felt guilty at this point and gave the dog back, telling the whole story. The Lady understood but said that she couldn't help. Georgina went back to her van with her bare hands. She hung her head in shame and guilt everywhere she went for three days until her mum said that she has found a affordable house for them to live in.
That's how the story ends......
