INKDEATH

Mo is now stuck as the legendary Bluejay. But no bad news to Mortimer Folchart. He is enjoying the new role. However, Meggie and Resa are not happy about this. They believe that this new role is changing Mo, the kind and warmhearted bookbinder, into the actual Bluejay- cunning, fearless and daring. Farid still longs for Dustfinger so is still working for Orpheus. Orpheus, also known as four-eyes, is changing this world. He claimes that he is a prince who can do magic. He reads in unicorns for wealth, rainbow fairies and all sorts of silly creatures. One night, Resa goes to Orpheus, believing that he would read them all home. In return, Orpheus wants Mo to summon the White Women since he was close to death when the "Magpie" shot him. He also wants to do this so that he could bring his favourite Inkworld character back to life. Guess who? Dustfinger. Resa refuses and goes home, furious. Farid goes to Mo and pleads him to agree to this. Mo does. He summons the White Women and makes a bargain. If Death releases Dustfinger and Mo, Mo will have to put an end to what he started. Write the 3 magical words and get rid of immortality in the Inkworld. If he fails, his own life will have it's end. But not only him. But Meggie as well since she helped him make the White book. Meggie is furious in the Inkworld, he believes that Mo is dead! He hasn't returned for 3 days! She blames this on Faird and Resa so she breaks up with Farid. Instead, her heart beats real fast for someone else, Doria- one of the robbers. Mo returns afterall but Meggie still doesn' forgive Resa and Farid. But Mo is not alone trying to kill the Adderhead. Or is that a good thing? Japoco's mother, Cosimo the Fair's widow and the Adderhead's very own daughter allies with Mo. Violante, a.k.a: Her Ugliness. Violante and her army of young boys join forces with Mortimer and set off to the Lake Castle, where her mother was born and stayed for ages before her father 'freed her'. Their plan was to announce that she had caught the Bluejay for adderhead to kill him, then he would bring his book along. Mo will write the 3 words in and success! Actually, it wasn't that easy. Japoco played the true hero in this episode, without him, Mo wouldn't have ever written the 3 words. THey succed and Violante became the new leader of Ombra. Also, Fenoglio discovered that Doria was one of his growmn up characters. He was an inventor and he invented flying machines and a typewriter for a close bookbinder. Plus, his wife came from far away. It was too much of a coincidence! The Folcharts and Elinor decide to stay in the Inkworld afterall with their son. The new Folchart, however, longed to see the lights in the streets and the aeroplanes in "our" world.

Inkdeath is the stunning conclusion to the trilogy. I have enjoyed this series although I would have preferred less adults taking the action and the main roles. Apart from that, I am glad that the miserable and complicated lives of the Folcharts are over.

Granny by Anthony Horowitz

The Wardens are a very wealthy and what looks like a happy family. Mr Warden smokes cigars 8 inches long, drinks champagne like lemonade and his job is most likely illegal because he always jumps into bushes to avoid policemen and wears a false mustache. Mrs Warden never went to school in her whole life and has piano lessons, tennis lessons, horse riding lessons, cooking lessons, escapology lessons and trapeze lessons to amuse herself. Their only son, Jordan Morgan Warden, who likes to call himself Joe does not like being rich and dreams of escaping his house to be a trapeze artist in a circuses, joining the Royal air force etc. The Wardens have 2 servants, 1 nanny and 1 gardener.

But the only part of the family who does not live with them is Joe's Granny. Not Grandmother or Grandma, just Granny and somehow it suited her. She had not been called anything else since she was 60. She was very short, had wiry silver hair, was very stingy and had table manners that would make a cannibal sick. Joe once wore her spectacles for fun and was still banging into walls 3 weeks later. She is very mean to Joe and has a nasty habit of embarrassing him during Christmas by giving him baby toys.
One day, when Joe's parents were on a trip and left Joe's granny to babysit ( Joe's nanny got eaten alive by dogs, his servants were on a holiday and his gardener got blown up ), he's granny brought him to Bideford to attend the Golden Granny Awards at a hotel. But during the awards he finds himself captured and and strapped to the Grannymatic Enzyme Extracter. He manages to escape ( blowing up the hotel in his effort ) and return home with Granny who unfortunately survived. A few days later, because Granny's trick went wrong and the whole Warden family thought she died and was now a ghost, Joe and his family moved to Australia. 2 years later Granny really did die. But deep in the Australian desert the Aborigines gather around a huge campfire and the didgeridoos throbs and wails through the darkness. If the magic is working they see an old woman walking around them with a scowl on her face. It is Granny. Looking for Joe. But she still hasn't found him yet.

This book is very amusing and exiting.

Saturday Girl (Book review #4)

When Suzanne walks into her new Saturday job, her heart sinks. The junior stylist in the salon is none other than Karenna Sheldon, the Karenna Sheldon who made Suzanne’s life miserable a few years back. Since then things have changed – the school has a new headteacher, who takes a much firmer line on bullying, for a start – but the second she saw Karenna, the confident 16 year old Suzanne became the nervous 12 year old she use to be.
In addition to bullying, this book touches on domestic violence, binge drinking and even teenage pregnancy! That’s quite a lot of grief and drama to fit into only a few pages, and because of this most of these themes get only the briefest of mentions which is a bit odd for a book aimed at teenagers. The topics are quite serious, but the story stays light because of Suzanne’s humour and insight into her situation.
The story doesn’t really go anywhere, and it’s much more about looking back than looking forward, but I did warm to the characters, and found it a very quick, easy read. It did seem a bit more like an extended short story than an intentional novel though. I don't think it is a type of book that you could read again and again.

White Fang Jack London
In the Northland, nineteenth century gold rush many people charged to that location to find gold.
Unfortunately human are not the only living things here. Much of this land is full of wolves.

The story starts with a pack of wolves enduring a famine. The front of the pack contains mostly the middle aged and the back is either the very old or the very young. After a few weeks, the famine ends. The pack then splits into half. The first half was leaded by a one eyed leader, a young leader and a reddish wolf-dog ( a hybrid, bred by native indians who named her Kiche ) and the other half were led by the rest of the leaders. But two by two wolves begin to desert. Soon all that was left of the first pack was the old one-eye, the young leader, Kiche and an three year old wolf. Soon even the three year old and the young leader are killed during mating season.

A few months later, Kiche and the old one-eye give birth to a set of cubs. Soon, another famine arrives and only Kiche and one cub remained ( in case you're wondering about what happened to the old one-eye he was killed by a lynx ). Soon afterwards, they are captured by indians and the cub, who was called White Fang by the native indians, is tormented by dogs ( they sure seem to have ran out of luck ).

Years later, White Fang was bought by an englishman nicknamed Beauty Smith ( he was no beauty ). White Fang was turned into a fighting dog for his famed skill in killing dogs in mostly three minutes and was cruelly treated until bought by another man named Weedon Scott who wanted him for a sled-dog. White Fang then lived a peaceful life until he was half killed by a criminal.

This book is exiting, interesting and amusing. I hope this blog is not too long.

DRACULA Bram Stoker

The story begins when a man named Jonathan Harker is sent to Castle Dracula, Transylvania
to help the count who lives there, Count Dracula ( No one knows he is a vampire yet ) to move to England. At first Jonathan suspects nothing and continues his work there but as time passes he begins to notice some strange things. For example : the Count does not eat, he does not have a shadow, in a room in his castle there are some horrible women who want Jonathan's blood and Jonathan cannot see the Count in his mirror even though he is standing right beside him. One day, Jonathan finds himself locked in the castle while the Count leaves for England along with his 50 coffins filled with earth from Transylvania. Jonathan decides to climb over the walls to escape the castle.

Meanwhile in England, strange things are starting to happen. A ship arrives in England with the captain and all his crew dead, wolves escape from the zoo, bats are starting to appear, people have been found in graveyards with holes on their necks and a woman named Lucy Westera, who is a friend of Jonathan's wife has been found dead. A few days later, Jonathan was found in a hospital because of brain problems and concussion. When he awakens he found out that Count Dracula has arrived in England and is slowly making an army of vampires. He and his friends Doctor Abraham Van Helsing, Arthur Holmwood (Lord Godalming), Mr Quincey Morris, Dr John Sewards and his wife Mina Murrey set out to hunt down both vampires and the Counts coffins which are needed for him to rest during daytime.

After a few weeks they managed to destroy all Counts coffin save one, forcing the Count to flee back to Transylvania. After tracking him down they managed to kill the Count by stabbing him in his heart and cutting of his head.

This book is quite enjoyable but the only problem is that the whole story is made out of diaries, letters, journals and memorandums.

So Abby, Runt and Chicken Little went to look for Fish. They found him in the UFO and quickly ran out. The aliens chased them and thought they have their kid but actually they don't. The aliens destroyed Oakey Oaks because, they want their child back. Chicken Little stopped them from destroying Oakey Oaks and gave the aliens back their child.
Chicken Little became Oakey Oaks hero! :)

Matilda :)

Author: Ronald Dahl
Pages:147

Matilda is one of my favorite books to read. Matilda is a 5 and a half year old child and truly gifted. She taught her self how to read when she was just 3 years old but all she read was old newspapers and magazines. When she got older she asked her dad for a real book, but one thing you don't know about Matilda's family that they don't care about her even when she was born. Mr.Wormwood is Matilda's father and Mrs.Wormwood is her mom. When Matilda got older she told her parents that she wanted to go to school so they listened to her for once and let her but Matilda discovered a lot of new stuff. Its much better if you read it ;P

Just In Case

This book starts off with a really weird and random start. First, there is this boy called David Case, he is 15 years old. David has this baby brother named Charlie...who wanted to fly. So when he started, he tipped off and hung by his David's bedroom window. He saves his baby brother by grabbing onto his cape. And just because of that, his whole world changes...every moment of his life are full of "what ifs" David begins to think of fate, and later he starts believing. He believes that he can outwit and outrun fate, or atlease try to. He then changes his name into Justin and he also changes his appearance.David/Justin meets Agnes Day a young woman (although noticeably older than Justin/David) who works in the charity shop where he buys his new clothes. Later in his life he is starting to suffer number of near death experiences. As his friendship develops with Agnes,he moves in with her. After one of his near death experiences, David/Justin begins to fall in love with Agnes. But soon realized that she only loved him because of another reason. David/Justin then has weird imaginations (e.g his pet greyhound). And that is how the story ends. It is definately a cliff hanger...

I like this book because it's interesting. Not every story is written in this way. And so, that is what makes it so unique. But at the same time, I don't really get the story "fully", however that is why it is different from other books. I am looking forward to the full end of this story (if there is one...). Overal, I enjoyed reading this book. It is my favourite book so far...
its a mall world after all-
pages:230
author: Janette rallison

This is one of my favorite book, its fun to read and i could understand every single word in it. I think its exciting and unpredictable and when i read it, i can create a clear image of what the mall look like, how the characters look, how they are dressed and so on. I also like the front cover :) . The story is briefly about the main character in the book, charlotte who found out that her best friend's boyfriend was cheating on her best friend. When she told her best friend the story, she didn't really believe her so she asked the guy who her best friend introduced her to since her best friend is Briana and her best friend's boy friend's name is Briant and her name is Charlotte and the boy Briana introduce to Charlotte was Colton so all their names start with the same letter :P But trust me, its not as stupid as it sounds :D !

Nicolas - stories haven't been told

Pages:434
Author: Goscinny & Sempe

I chose one of my favorite story in the book(there's a lot of chapters). The story's called "Womens, Girls". Marie-Edwige lives next to Nicolas new house. He can't see her much because her parents Mr and Mrs Courteplauqe is not really friends with Nicolas parents. One day Marie invited Nicolas to come over. At first they played soldiers, they played well together at first. But then Marie starts to annoy Nicolas when she plays competitions games like racing. At the end, they played chess, Nicolas got pissed of letting Marie cheat so he took three steps then and he won. Marie face got SO red and it looks like shes about to cry :|. She called him a cheater and never gonna talk to him again. His mum heard screaming and was waiting for Nicolas at the door. She said" Tisk, men, you guys are all the same."

I like this because its kind of cute at the first, Nicolas like the girl, think shes pretty and all those stuff. Then at the end they got in a fight because Marie didn't win the chess game!!! :P. Then both of them stop talking to each other! LOL. I didn't really get why the title was: Womens, Girls"? I think it could have been "Men,Boys" or something like that. But overall, i liked the book :).

Alex rider:Stormbreaker

Alex rider is a fourteen year old boy wholives with his uncle, he finds out his uncle dies after a car acident. He then finds out that it wasnt a car accident and that his uncle was a spy. The people who were running the spy company then recruited him to a camp. After he was done with his camp he was sent on a mission to infiltrate a guys company which was creating something called The stormbreaker. The machine was not intended for educational purposes but for evil plans
This book was by far the best novel i read since the reading challenge started because the plot of the story was just magnificent and the suspense was very good.

Feeling sorry for Celia

This book is not a storytelling book like other books. This is a book that has letters sent to and letters been recieved from clubs, her stepbrother, her penpal Christina, her mother.
The main charecter Elizabeth has a penpal called Christina, and they discuss about their problems in their life and give advises back. Elizabeth mostly writes about her best friend Celia running away all the time. In the book, Celia runs away 3 times. The 1st time by herself and she joins a cirkus, and she runs away with her boyfriend 2 times. It gets very complicating when Celia and her boyfriend's relatives tries to look for them. Christina mostly talks about the relationship between her and her boyfriend. The things that goes wrong between them is very funny.
Elizabeth's parents are divorsed and she lives with her mother and her father lives with his other family. Her mother is bussy working so she leaves notes at home for Elizabeth to read and i find the notes she wrote very funny. For example if the note is on the fridge, the first sentence on the note is 'Elizabeth! Look over here on the table!! Its a note from your mother!!!'.
Her father sometimes invites her to dinner to a resturant. The father and Elizabeth always don't know what to talk about. They always talk about the wine they're drinking and how it is at her school. Sometimes Elizabeth asks him something about his family like how they are but he never tells her anything about them and he tries to start a ew conversasion.
Once you read this book, you can never stop reading because its so intrestigng know what the person writes to them or writes back.

Dork on the run

Dork on the Run is a exciting and unpredictable book to read by Carol. This book is about a boy who used to be call a dork in his old school. But now when He moved tom his new school, he decided to run for president. But become face-to-face with his bully, Gabe Marshall, who's also running for president when his FAN convinced him. But all Gabe did was taking out Jerry by force and mean tricks. Luckily, Jerry has Brenda McAdams on his side to help him and was his campaign manager.

One day when he was in front of his school before going inside, he met Brenda and his other friends, Kim and Kat, the twin Hensley sisters. They suggested that Jerry should run for president. Then, in his  1st lesson, all of GABE MARSHALL "follower" all insisted him to be president. Jerry, full of embarrassment and feeling of defeated, nearly decided to quit the run. But he eventually went running again when his friends insisted him again along with people they gathered to vote Jerry for president.

Along Jerry's journey, his sister, Melissa, was being push around by a "Cool" 3rd grader she wanted to be friend with because she was 1st grader. Back to school there was a named Zoey, who came from HOLLYWOOD in Jerry's class. But along the journey, Cinnamon, a girl who wanted to be friend with Zoey and was like a girlfriend to Gabe. There was still weeks from the voting day, but to take out his opponent, Gabe took pictures of Jerry's embarrassing moments.

It's voting week, and Gabe still haven't giving up on out take Jerry. But unlucky for Gabe Marshall, Jerry had learn a way to defend himself. Nearly all of Gabe's tricks turn from offensive, to defensive for Jerry. But right before the speech, Gabe had done something bad to Jerry. Will that turn one, or even more votes down for Jerry. Read the book to find out.

I think this book is very entertaining. But this book is also has a various type of personality and I was very enjoy to understand them. Like Jerry, even though he is bullied all the time, he wouldn't report this violence attack from a bully. I would recommend that you should read this book.

INKSPELL

Dustfinger finally manages to return to the Inkworld and reunites with his family- Roxane and Brianna. He also reunites with his other nonhuman family- fire. Fire dances for him again and only do so in the INkworld. However, his young apprentice Farid is left behind in our world. He can't stand it without Dustfinger, so he persuades Meggie to read him into the Inkworld. She succeeds but she also brings along the cause of Dustfinger's death in the story- Gwin. Finally, Meggie fulfils her wish to see all the fairies and nymphs and the Laughing Prince in the Inkworld. She knows that her father is missing her at home and she plans to leave as soon as possible. On the other hand, she doesn't know that vicious Basta and the Magpie (Mortola) finds her parents and they are too, brought to the Inkworld. Mortola shoots Mo and he is in terrible danger because of Mortola's loathing for him. Meanwhile, Fenoglio, the "author" of the story (currently in the INkworld) develops poems and stories of the legendary robber, the Bluejay. When the fire raisers see Mo wounded, he think that he is the Bluejay. His scar on his left arm, his height and his dark brown hair all fit the description. Meggie finds out from Fenoglio that the Bluejay isn't real but it is based on a real man- Mo. The Adderhead's men set out to find Mo. Since he is in terrible danger, Meggie reads Fenoglio's words and try to change the story. However, the story no longer belongs to Fenoglio, it has created it's own story. It plays with death. The conclusion to everything. Meggie and Fenoglio try to help Meggie's parents as well as Meggie is falling in love with Faird. When the Adderhead sets Mo free, the Black Prince's men (including Farid and Dustfinger) check to see if this is a game or not. There is a war and the good side wins. Unfortunately, Farid is found dead. Of course, Meggie is heartbroken. Dustfinger remembers a stroy about a fire-eater bring back his son to life. He sees if the story is true. Dustfinger gives his own life to the White women in exchange for Farid's life. Farid comes back to life and Dustfinger is gone... like forever. But is it forever? Farid's prayers will be answered later. Inkspell is the captivating 2nd book of the trilogy. Fenoglio realises that the Inkworld isn't under control anymore- no-one can change it's future. Death seems to be playing with the character's lives. It isn't made out of Fenoglio's words anymore. The book is still kind of confusing because there is a lot going on, but all the same, it is an imaginative and a thrilling book.

Do i look like i care?

This is a story which is continued from the story, Cringe. This story is about Amaryllis who continues to go out with Tarquin who later she finds out that he is also one of those "typical boys" who only think about themselves and that the girl is like an item which they can use any time. Amaryllis still dreams about herself being successful and rich when se grows up. She continues to be "glamorous" with her best friend, Xanthe. They continue to decorate their plain T shirts with glitter, fluff and felt tips. The illustrations didn't convince me that the shirts looked good because of the illustrations. If it was real life, i wouldn't hang around them. Just saying. Anyways, Amaryllis also continues to be embarraced by her family such as her dad who paints her in a frock, not the fab dress that she said that she wanted to be painted in. At the same time, her mum keeps writing embarracing poems and reads them out with her dangly earrings which Amaryllis calls them chandelliers. At the end, after Tarquin gets dumped, he waits at the doorstep but Amaryllis just decides to leave him there until he decides to leave himself. (girl power!) :)

Cringe!

Cringe is a story about a girl named Amaryllis who was born to be a star, according to what she said. While she follows her path to fame, there are obstacles, of course, and guess what? One of them is her embarrassing family. Her freaky dad who wears his sandals all year round and paints half- naked pictures of women who look like her mum…! Next, her mum who wears dangly earrings every day and writes poetry- for fun! Her mum really embarrasses Amaryllis with her old fashioned mind and taste. She also has two brothers- Ben and Hugo. Hugo is a nerd who LIKES homework and Ben is a part of a band called GOB. In the group, there is a guy who Amaryllis likes. He, just like Ben, left school right after his GCSEs. Then there’s Tarquin. He is Jake’s younger brother who likes Amaryllis. He never showed that until right at the end when he asked her out on a date on her birthday…! Amaryllis also doodled what she would look like in the future. You can see in the pictures that she has strong beliefs that she will be beautiful and rich when she grows up. She also has a best friend, Xanthe who always seems to have a better life then hers. She had rich and good looking parents, a mum with a great sense of fashion and a HUGEEEEE house. Finally, at Amaryllis’ birthday party, all of her family members and Xanthe comes but so does Tarquin! He gives her a phone cover to go with her new phone. She was so delighted! That day, according to her, was the best day of her life.

Alternative title I think I could change the name of the book "The Ship of Adventure " (by Enid Blyton ) with " The Lost Treasure of Andra " because the book is about four children finding a missing treasure which once belonged to a princess named Andra by accidentaly finding a map in a model of a ship. The new name also sounds more thrilling then the original name. The new name also gives more details about the story.
THE RUNAWAY TROLL written by Matt Haig

This book is about a 12 year old boy named Samuel Blink. When his parents are crushed to death by a falling log he and his sister are sent to Norway to live with their aunt and uncle. But in the forest beside their new home there is a village inhabited by smelly, dirty, stupid and revolting trolls. Everything is fine until one of the trolls runs out of the forest into their house. In the end Samuel decides to take the troll back into the forest but finds himself finds himself kidnaped by a clean, smart but terrible troll called the Betterer ( how very strange). In the end Samuel manages to escape, the runaway troll is returned back to it's home and the Betterer is strangled to death.

I think this book is enjoyable, funny but weird.

A Absolutely True Diary Of A Part-Time Indian

This book by Sherman Alexie is about this indian/native american boy named Arnold Spirit. To start the story, he explained that when he was just born, Arnold was born with excess of cerebral spinal fluid in his skull (described as: born with water in the brain). He is a cartoonist. It is written in first person, it is detailing Arnold's life on the Spokane Indian Reservation. Arnold has 42 teeth, he's skinny. He has really big hands, feet and head. He has poor eyesight, he has this thing called a stutter and a lisp. Most of his family is very poor, they can't afford as much. One day, Arnold's adopted dog, Oscar got sick. But since they are very poor they can't pay for it to be cured. So his dad forced him to kill Oscar with a rifle. Arnold only has 1 friend named Rowdy. Although Rowdy's dad abuses his wife and son...The next day, which is his first day in high school, when he was in school, his teacher Mr.P told his whole class to read this textbook. As he started reading, he realized that it had been used by his mother.Out of random, he threw the book and it accidently hit Mr.P, who decided to suspend Arnold. After a week passed, Arnold and his family went to meet Mr.P, where Arnold apologize. Afterwards, Mr.P and he had a talk, which made him realize what he did wrong.Mr.P wanted Arnold to leave the reservation and move to another school called "Reardan" in the countryside, Arnold accepted. When his friend, Rowdy heard about this, he was angry. As he joins the school, he made better friends. He also has this crush on this girl named Penelope. But other students treat him badly because he's the only Indian in the school.Towards the end of the story, it is a happy ending since he and Penelope develops their relationship, he makes it to the basketball team and him and Rowdy became friends again. Unfortunately, his sister dies because of a trailer fire and so does his grandmother which got run over by a car which belonged to a drunk driver.

My overall impression: I don't really like the book fully, I think it's normal. I don't like this book because it's kind of racist and there's alot of violence happening. But I did enjoy reading this book. Although in the middle, I thought it was boring.

Brian was sent to a regular medium security prison and made a mistake of deciding to knock out the two escorting guards and take the van which he crashed. after that the judge decided that it would be better to give him a life sentence in Alcatraz.

New Moon

New moon is the 2nd book in the squel Twilight. The genre is Romance and Fantasy. The story starts with Bella's 18th birthday. Edward and the Cullens arrange a bday party for her. The house was decorated beautifully. Pink candles, crystal balls... everything nice. Bella was opening her presents when she got a paper cut. Jasper was overwhelmed by the blood and lost control. He leapt for the cut. Edward tried to protect Bella. Although she wasn't bitten, she was still injured. Bella fell onto the shattered glass and crystals and cut her arm. The Cullens decide that it would be better for Bella's safety if they avoid her- go to Alaska. Edward and the Cullens made a clean break and left Bella behind hear-broken and depressed. During Edward's absence, she gets friendly with Jacob- a huge 16 year old who told Bella what Edward was. Also, she didn't completely forget about Edward. INfact, he was who she longed to see. She hears a beautiful voice in her head. A velvety one. Just like Edwards. She meets Laurent, the male vampire who fought with James in Twilight. He tells her that Victoria is after Bella's life since Edward killed her mate (James), she decided to kill Edward's mate (Bella). He attempts to kill her but rather huge wolves frighten Laurent away. When she saw the biggest, she thought of Jacob for some reason. Soon, she figures out that he is a werewolf. Jacob avoids her ever since he joined Sam's gang. Sam was a werewolf Jacob was afraid of. Well, while Bella and Jacob go hiking, bella sees a boy jumping from a cliff. Jacob explains that it is cliff-diving.He reccommends it for her and decide that he would take her cliff-diving soon. One day, Bella jumps off the cliff for cliff diving. She almost drowns and ignores Edward's pleading voice to keep fighting. She gets rescued soon and meets Alice. Alice is urgent- she needs Bella to come with her to Italy. Now, Alice has special abilities like Edward. Her's is "seeing the future". Appearantly, she saw Bella jump off the cliff and die. She informed Rosaline who told Edward. Of course, if someone changes the path (like Jacob who rescued Bella) it isn't correct. Bella was perfectly well but Edward has gone to Italy to kill himself. They both rush to Italy and arrive in time to stop Edward. The Voluti, another group of Vampires that intended to accept Edward's offer and kill him, informs Edward and Alice that since Bella knows the existence of Vampires, she must be either killed or transformed into a vampire. However, if they do either, the treaty with the werewolves will be broken. This leaves everyone in a dilema. Back at Forks, where the Cullens returned to, they have a vote which would decide whether Bella becomes one of them or not. THe majority agrees and in a few years time, Bella will become another kind- a vampire. They still note the treaty- if the Cullens bite a human... a war begins.

Personally, I prefer Twilight but New Moon's still good. We can tell that Bella loves Edward and so does he by their longings to see eachother. It is a truly tricky decision to make about Bella. Edward loves her so they can't kill her but if she gets bitten, the werewolves won't stand a chance. As i mentioned before, my guess was correct until now. The main plot is that there are 2 lovers and one is dangerous for the other but he still tries to protect her because of the love he has for her.

Author: Sienna Mercer
Pages : 247

Olivia Abbott just moved in to Franklin Grove Middle School. Then the next day she just realized that she had a long lost twin in the school, Ivy Vega. Ivy and Olivia knew that they were twins because they have the same dark emerald ring from their biological parent, they've been separated and Olivia is adopted. . But Ivy Vega is not a normal twin, she is a Vampire. Olivia found out and told her parents straight away, but Ivy had trouble to tell her dad because he's always at work. The two twins told Ivy's best friend, Sophia. The next day, they knew that the WHOLE school is talking about them. People starts taking pictures and asking them questions about how they found each others. Ivy has met Olivia's parents but Olivia is dying to meet Ivy's dad because when ever Ivy talks about Olivia, her dad purposely have a reason so he can't meet Olivia. The sisters had just been reunited for awhile then Ivy's dad found a new job in Moscow, Russia. Now everything gone crazy because Ivy and he sister are trying to find their biological parents and Ivy's moving to a different country. They've been searching on the Vorld Vide Veb, which vampires uses to find more about their rings that they are wearing. Lucky for them, Ivy's boyfriend, Brendan's dad is a scientist which research on human/vampire relationship. But he didn't help them to look for the twins parent. However, one day they were looking at Ivy's dad paper document and they found a picture of her dad's marriage image. She was shock because her dad had disguise himself since the day the twins were separated, Ivy had lived her whole life with her biological and without noticing. And the reason behind when Ivy's dad doesn't want to met Olivia because she's a human which reminds him of their mum a lot. But in three weeks Ivy and her dad is moving to Europe. These two twins are stopping a vampire from spreading his wings.

This is only the first book in the story, i haven't read the others but i quite like the story because as the story goes on it gets better and the two twins has more adventure looking for their parents. I don't really like the opening of the story because Olivia when she found out that Ivy was her twin sister, it happen so quickly because she just started a new school. And she found her self a twin at the second day of school, which i think is kind of weird. I still like the story though :)

Private Peaceful

Although this book is quite short (less than 200 pages), it has a very creative plot. Again, it is a book belonging in the genre of historical fiction (if that exists).

It is all about the tangled love lives of 3 people. Firstly, there is Charlie Peaceful, Molly, and the main character, a young teenager called Thomas Peaceful (sometimes referred as Tommo). Now, Thomas is Charlie's younger brother and Molly is the girl Thomas has been dreaming about almost all his life- in other words, he loves her and loved her ever since he first met her at school. The 3 have grown up together and have had many adventures. But here is the real adventure- the dangerous adventure. Charlie and Thomas joins up the army to fight in Belgium. However and unfortunately to Tommo, it was revealed that Charlie and Molly have been meeting eachother secretly and Molly was bearing Charlie's child inside her. Of course, young Thomas was heartbroken - I mean, the person he loved for soo long turns out to love his older brother! They quickly got married and Charlie and Thomas set off to Belgium. For all this time and during the war, Thomas has been recording all his feelings and experiences in a novel- this book. During the war, Charlie dies bravely for his country. He died while singing his favourite childhood song "oranges and Lemons". The war ends and Thomas declares Charlie's death to his family, including Molly and he promises to look after his nephew- Little Tommo.

Thomas experiences quite alot. The fact that the girl he always admired instead loves his brother and the fact that Charlie dies. It may be only 2 things for us, but these experieces have broken young Tommo's heart. At these points, I do feel terribly sorry for Thomas. Those are things I wouldn't wish to experience but the world isn't always fair. Everyone has their dark days. Anyway, I think that Thomas must have detested his brother for a while for "taking his girl" but still promises to take care for little Tommo. I am sure that Charlie must have felt very touched by Thomas' reactions. This is a very great book.

Twilight

Twilight is a book belonging in serveral genres ( I can't decide!). They are Romance, Fantasy and Action. It is written by Stephanie Meyer and it comes in a squel. This is the 1st book.

It is all about a 17-year-old girl called Isabella Swan but she prefers to be called Bella. She moved from Phoenix to Forks because of her family split- her parents got divorced and her mum's going to travel around with her new partner- Phil, a ball player. She goes to a school and makes friends real quickly. She finds a group of people who are a bit eerie. Unusual- they look different but seem very similar with each other. They are real pale and Bella says that they are gorgeous- especially the blond haired girl and the boy with golden-ish eyes. She can't stop thinking about them- especially the beautiful boy ever since he saved her from getting squashed- he appeared out of thin air and held back two cars with his bare hands!!!) At first, she semed to detest him but she becomes very close with the gorgeous boy (Edward Cullen) and ends up falling in love with him (so does he). She has theories about what he is. A boy bitten by a spider? A radioactive person? NO- she figures out later that he is the "bad guy"- a Vampire. He has been 17 for almost a century- alone- partnerless. They become obessed with eachother. Edward and Bella both know that if Edward loses his control, his dark side could overtake him and might end up injuring (or killing) Bella. He doesn't like to be a monster. Well, one day, Bella goes to Edwards house and some people come and want to play baseball with them. Alice knows that they are after Bella- the human. They were probably thristy for blood. Here begins the chase. Bella needs to evacuate from Forks as quickly as possible. The leader tricks Bella into thinking that he has her mother and she is in danger. Bella falls for the trick and gets attacked. Edward saves her and she survives.

This book has a great plot - it goes together soo well like a jigsaw puzzle. It is very imaginative- the fact that there are also good vampires among them. When I hear vampires, I think dark arts and evil - basically nightmarish stuff. Anyway, the book can hook people easily and like what my friends who reccommended this book said, i got tempted to skip pages - but careful not to, just incase I left out important parts. The book is a mixture of different genres and it makes it more interesting. I also like the fact that the story is simple. Bella Loves Edward, but he is dangerous but he still tries to protect her no matter what because he loves her. I guess this will stay the overall story throughout the series.

How to Steal a dog

How to steal a dog is a Novel written by Barbara O'Connor but i have read the Korean version translated by Seon hae Shin. This 261 page book is about an 11 year old girl called Georgina (here is her facebook pagehttp://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Georgina-Hayes/147515458641128 i made a few days ago. If you have a facebook, go on it and chack your invites cause i invited everyone in 7N. Please like it!) who's dad runs away from home only leaving her, her mum and her brother a van and a plastic mayonaise bottle. At her school, she only has one friend and one day, she goes to her friend's house and her friend's mum asks her "where do you live?" and she told her mum the truth. However, the mother of her friend didn't like this. She thought that because Georgina is poor, she is also dirty so whenever Georgina touched something, the mother would sanitize it and clean it very hard with a cloth. This was the motivation to Georgina's crime. Georgina didn't want to be treated this way just because she lived in a van. One day, georgina's mum came with good news that she found a house which was cheaper compared to the other houses. It was $300 but they didn't have enough money. Georgina had to get the money somehow but she couldn't apply for a job because she was too young. An idea sprung into her mind when she was walking down an alley and she saw a huge house with a cute dog outside. She knew the dog would make her alot of money. After a few days of planning and preperation, she decided it was time to turn her plan into action. Her plan was to kidnap the dog and keep it in a place for several days which would make the owner to put up posters for a missing dog. Georgina thought that when the owner put up the poster for the missing dog, they would put a reward up for the person who finds the dog. Because the owner was rich, they would put a high price for the reward. Georgina finally got hold of the dog, put it in a building and took care of it for several days until she went to the house where the dog belongs to and tried to persuade them to out up posters and put a reward for finding the dog but it wasn't easy because she soon found ou that the lady who lived there wasn't rich. Only the house was big because her ancestors passed it down. Georgina felt guilty at this point and gave the dog back, telling the whole story. The Lady understood but said that she couldn't help. Georgina went back to her van with her bare hands. She hung her head in shame and guilt everywhere she went for three days until her mum said that she has found a affordable house for them to live in.
That's how the story ends......

The Thief Lord

This adventurous book written by Cornelia Funke belongs in the genre of Adventure and is 349 pages long. I have picked up this book because the previous book I read was also written by Cornelia Funke and I truly enjoyed it. Therefore I chose this book.

Prosper (12) and Bo (5), two brothers run away from their aunt after the death of their mother. They flee to Venice, where their mother used to tell magical stories about. They meet Scipio- but calls himself as "The Thief Lord" who lives in a unused theatre (The Stella) and earns his living by- of course, stealing from the wealthiest homes and sells them to a greedy shopkeeper, Ernesto Barbarossa (Redbeard) . Scipio is 13, a very generous boy. He has a few companions: Caterina or"Hornet", Riccio & Mosca. Hornet is a writer, she is always reading and writing. Riccio, on the other hand, is scruffy- his hair sticking out from everywhere! He loves sweets and that explains his bad teeth. Mosca is a tall and muscular boy from Africa, he loves water and boats. Prosper and Bo's aunt, Esther, hires a detective called Victor to find the brothers. Victor finds the boys and discovers that they live in The Stella. He also tells the boys about Scipio's true identity- he is the son of Dottore Massimo- that means that Scipio was selling things from his own home!!! Victor say that if they do not steal the wing, he will not reveal their hiding place. They set off the steal the wing and meet Scipio- Ida, the owner of the house, finds out who they are and she tells them the story about the wing. The wing came from a magical merry-go-round that had the ability to change a person's age. She made a deal with everyone (apart from Hornet and Bo) that she will give them the wing if they allow her to join and to see the merry-go-round. When they returned, the 2 left a note saying that there were police at the door. They suspect Victor who swears that he was innocent. Ida and Victor find Hornet at the orphanage and take them out. The next morning, Bo was found at the stella. Scipio and Prosper meet Conte and Morosina who are young and forgot that the merry-go-round works. Scipio rides and becoming a goodlooking man- taking after his father. Redbeard also wishes to become an adult but turns out to be 5. Ida immediately understands the situation when she finds them. Scipio becomes Victor's assisstant and Esther adopts Redbeard who was found stealing her belongings and ends up in a boarding school where he forces everyone to call him "The Thief Lord".

I found this story having too many things going on and I wish it was slightly more simple. I also felt like the plot was too detailed. Apart from that, the plot was great, very imaginative (yet again) to think of the merry-go-round and the characters. The story fits soo well.

INKHEART

Inkheart is a 543 paged fantasy book written by Cornelia Funke. It is a quite complicated story since Inkheart is a book inside this book and there are characters appearing from different books and the 'real world' so some characters may have quite bizarre names.

Mo, a bookbinder, & his daugther Meggie are book-lovers. There house is full of books and they probably care more about their books than any other thing they own. However, ever since Meggie's mother mysteriously (to Meggie) disappeared, Mo had never read a book aloud to her. Meggie didn't know that her father had an unusual talent. One night, a stranger turned up at their house. He was named Dustfinger. Meggie never thought pleasantly about this man. This man persuaded Mo to tell Meggie the truth- how it all happened. Mo had a strange gift- when he read a book aloud so realistically, he could read out a character or a few from the book. However, someone or something must go in the book. That night his wife disappeared, he read Inkheart aloud. He read out Dustfinger, 'the Magpie', Basta and Capricorn- the worst of all. Guess who went in?- Teresa, Meggie's mother. Dustfiner was a man who earned his living by doing tricks- he as close with fire. Apart from him, they were all villains who called Mo Silvertongue- villains who never felt any sympathy. These characters from Inkheart all had something in common. 1st, they came out from the same place and they were all after the book- INKHEART but for differen reasons. They run away, Mo later on reads out Farid (who later on likes Meggie)& gold from THE THOUSAND AND ONE NIGHTS. One day, Dustfinger betrays them all just for the book- he was homesick- he hated Mo for taking his world away from him. Capricorn finds out that Meggie also has the gift. Therefore when he spots his favourite maid , Resa, ( who Basta and Dustfinger fancy and fought for) & Dustfinger tring to take the book, he demands Meggie to call the Shadow. Farid points out that Resa has Meggie's eyes and nose and hair, Dustfinger knows that Resa is indeed Meggie's mother. When Meggie and Resa meet, They both realise that they are mother and daugther. The writer of Inkheart changes the story so that the Shadow kills Capricorn, they succeed. Basta and the Mgpie and Dustfinger run away but the family that was once separated reunites.

I would have never been able to think of such wonderful plot, such wonderful talents too. I think that there is a lot of coincedences- rather sad one as well. Since it was too exciting, I was able to finish the book in a day! I am glad that I read many books before since Mo and Meggie and Elinor talk about many books such as The Wind in the Willows, The adventures of Tom Sawyer, The Hobbit, Peter Pan... etc. I think that Cornelia must have a open, imaginative mind to think of all these characters.

The Fellowship of the Ring

The Fellowship of the Ring is the 1st of the 3 volumes of the series: The Lord of the Rings. THe Lord of the Rings is a dark lord named Sauron, the maker of the 11 rings. However, this Lord has lost the one ring that has the most power of all. He desires to reclaim the ring and use it to take over the Middle- earth.

The story starts with Bilbo Baggins' (a truly old Hobbit) 111th birthday. He suddenly disappeared during the feast after saying "Farewell". No-one could really explain this but none knew that one ring could explain the disappearance. Bilbo had a mysterious ring - a ring that had powers out of the ordinary. If you slipped the ring on, you would disappear- VANISH. Bilbo was never to be seen after this party. He leaves the ring in Frodo'sBilbo's cousin and Heir, prosession. Gandalf the Grey- a wizard, suspects that the ring is the one ring and only lost ring. The ring that had the most power- powers that Sauron wanted to take over the world. Gandalf knows that it's master is after it. THerefore, Frodo, Sam, Merry and Pippin (3 trustworthy friends), secretly leave the Shire. They have many adventures, they meet elves, Aragorn- who saved Frodo's life (although Frodo still got a wound from the enemy's servant), Tom, Elrond (who healed Frodo's wound), Lady Galadriel- who gave the party presents and refused to take the ring and lastly, Gollum, the dark lord who had once lost it's ring to Bilbo (in The Hobbit). He was following them. Later on, Frodo attempts to set out on his own, unwilling to take the rest of the party because it was going to be too risky. However, Sam finds him and together, they set off to Mordor.

Honestly, I didn't enjoy the book very much. I think that the plot is great but it isn't really my type. I wish Gandalf didn't know everything about everything in the beginning of the story. He just explained everything at the beginning. This made my hopes down as I had nothing to be waiting for. This book didn't really give me the interest in flipping the page. It didn't suck me into the book. And most importantly, it didn't give me the temptation to skip pages to find out the ending.

Halo Reach Diary

(BASED IN FUTURE)
The Aliens are attacking earth humans are being forced into refuge and hiding, this diary will  explain how the humans plan to survive a seemingly Suicidal war, the resistance and the refugee's.

This Halo reach diary is about the citizens who have offered to fight for the survival of the human race and is also a personal diary of someone in refuge ( in a resistance). This Diary Explains some of the individual's who are being "Modified" to fight for the survival, How they Will Modify they're natural body into a possible superhuman, also the risk's of this such as cardiovascular problems,Mental issue's Etc. The diary is written By a possible official of the De-established army. In the diary she includes her own personal thoughts of the friends she had. They Are in possible refuge/deceased but as she is writing the diary she show's no care towards her friends but an amazing amount of thought towards the Modified Citizen's. She called them or named them Spartan's like the ones from ancient greek meaning that these futuristic Spartan's shall be strong, brave, cunning and tactical just as the one's from ancient greek. Towards the end of the diary she has many file's of the Modified Citizen's and more surprisingly they are all under the age of 13, definite child abusing, maybe the spartan's have something else to fight for....
This book is about a young Asian British boy named Baljit dreaming to be a football player. For his all time favorite football team, Liverpool. When he was asked to go to a trial for Leicester city he knew that his dad wouldn’t let him, of course his dad despised football, instead he wanted Baljit to be a doctor or a lawyer. but Baljit knew this wasn’t what he himself really wanted, he wanted to play football and make a career out of it so in the end he lied to his dad saying that he had an English trip to London as his dad fell for the lie, Baljit was at the Leicester city trial's and had been treated racially by the other's with him at he trial. In the end one of them were excused from the trials at Leicester soon after that Baljit had scored a goal and his talent was recognized by the scouts there. He wasn’t only picked for Leicester city but for arsenal and his dream team Liverpool as Baljit exploded with happiness and excitement he remembered that his parents would never let him so in the end he knew he had to tell them what he had done, his dad acted so angry but then cried of happiness as he was going to go to Liverpool's youth club. Baljit’s dad knew about it this whole time.

Coraline

Book Review #2
                                                                 Coraline by: Neil Gaiman
Coraline moved into a new,old house. Coraline's parents always had no time to play with her because her father has works to do and her mother has to buy food, cook and clean house. Well half of the house was her's and the other half belongs to Miss Spink, Miss Forcible
and Hamish a man who live's the attic said to create a mouse circus. Weird right? Well it's kind of amazing if you created mouse circus.
Coraline founded a mysterious door that only leads to a wall of bricks.

Everyday she heard creaks, saw shadows at night. She opened the door and walk down the hall way and went to the art room and opened the door, she went through it and she find out she's still in her home. But the weird thing is that her parent's has black button instead of eyes
She explore everywhere and she really liked the place later on she went on exploring and found a talking cat and the cat leads her to place's and tell's her that in this other world it  is dangerous go back. Coraline came back home and find out that her parent's had dissaspeared. She stay home days and days but her parent's still didn't came home and it was up to her to find her mother and father back home.       This story is very insteresting and amazing to me because it was sometimes weird and scary those are the thing I like to read in a story

one day he wanted to steal one of his brother's heavy metal CD. then halloween came and greg and his friend thought of making a haunted house. but it failed because one of his costumors got stuck in one of the events.

If he loses, half the human race will die and the other half will be enslaved. Cities will be destroyed. Mountains will crumble. Seas will boil. A new Dark Age will begin. Tom's best friend Sharif has been attacked by a Shinobi Ghost - a zombie ninja, powered by magic. Tom wants payback.

THE KITE RIDER (book review #3)

Have you watched a kite flying recently? Can you visualize one now, bucking around in the wind, sailing and diving? Now, can you imagine being up there with it, riding the kite? That is what the boy, Haoyou, does in this amazing story set in thirteenth century China.
What happens to get Haoyou up there in the clouds? Well, It's a fantastic story of revenge and double dealing, and obedience to one's elders, and it all begins with the terrible sudden death of Haoyou's father. Haoyou's father is a poor seaman, but he has a beautiful wife, and is the envy of many because of her.
It is envy that makes Di Chou, the first mate, send Haoyou's father up into the sky on the wind tester, to test the omens for their next voyage. That is a kind of kite riding too, but Haoyou's father dies of fright. And no sooner after Haoyou's father is out of the house, Di Chou turns up to propose marriage to Haoyou's newly widowed mother.
I loved this book. It has all the life and excitement of ancient China, from the foul-smelling waterfront at Dagu, to the fabulous Jade Circus with the its Chinese acrobats and Mongol horsemen, to the magnificence of the Kublai Khan's summer camp. Highly recommended!

The Meaning of Life (Book Review #2)

The Book,
'The Meaning of Life' by Joanna Nadin is a diary of a girl name Rachel Riley. In the Book, Rachel falls in love with a rock god name Justin Statham and she is afraid to tell her mom, she thinks that her mom would ban Justin if he shows up at her house because he has long hair and has done IT(allegedly).

Rachel feels that if IT happens it needs to be earth-shattering and meaningful as IT is, after all,
THE MEANING OF LIFE.

In the end, Rachel finally found her true love and she is definitely sure that it is not Justin!
