DRACULA Bram Stoker
The story begins when a man named Jonathan Harker is sent to Castle Dracula, Transylvania
to help the count who lives there, Count Dracula ( No one knows he is a vampire yet ) to move to England. At first Jonathan suspects nothing and continues his work there but as time passes he begins to notice some strange things. For example : the Count does not eat, he does not have a shadow, in a room in his castle there are some horrible women who want Jonathan's blood and Jonathan cannot see the Count in his mirror even though he is standing right beside him. One day, Jonathan finds himself locked in the castle while the Count leaves for England along with his 50 coffins filled with earth from Transylvania. Jonathan decides to climb over the walls to escape the castle.
Meanwhile in England, strange things are starting to happen. A ship arrives in England with the captain and all his crew dead, wolves escape from the zoo, bats are starting to appear, people have been found in graveyards with holes on their necks and a woman named Lucy Westera, who is a friend of Jonathan's wife has been found dead. A few days later, Jonathan was found in a hospital because of brain problems and concussion. When he awakens he found out that Count Dracula has arrived in England and is slowly making an army of vampires. He and his friends Doctor Abraham Van Helsing, Arthur Holmwood (Lord Godalming), Mr Quincey Morris, Dr John Sewards and his wife Mina Murrey set out to hunt down both vampires and the Counts coffins which are needed for him to rest during daytime.
After a few weeks they managed to destroy all Counts coffin save one, forcing the Count to flee back to Transylvania. After tracking him down they managed to kill the Count by stabbing him in his heart and cutting of his head.
This book is quite enjoyable but the only problem is that the whole story is made out of diaries, letters, journals and memorandums.
