this book is about a boy called greg hellfrey who now owns a dog named sweety but his brother: rodrick can't spell and spelled sweaty. after that, he and his friend rowley thought of making money so they started a lawn company. they have waited for a phone call for a few days until mrs canfield called and needed her lawn mowed. they failed at doing it and stopped the company. after that they were given 10 dollars to buy a fish. greg bought a angelfish and his brother bought a pirana. greg's tank was very dirty so his mom accidentally put his fish into his brother's tank and the fish was eaten by his brother's fish. after that he wanted to go with rowley's family but it wasn't the best trip.
