SAS Hero
The book i read was about a squad of highly trained soldiers sent into iraq to gather information about the enemy. The squad was suprisingly attacked and only one person survived. This book was full of suspense because of the way the author wrote about how the soldiers were shocked and how they were scared when they came in contact with the enemy. This book was also based on a true story in 1991 when the gulf war started. The aurthor also made the charecters in the squad look like total cowards because of the way they were panicing about the enemy trying to hunt them down. This book also made me feel sorry for the squad members because of the way they were captured and the way some of them fought until the death. Also i wondered if the training they had was enough to survive and if there training was harder than spartan training, the elite warriors of the ancient world. Thesoldier who survived was after shipped back to England because of the service he dedicated to his country. The aurthor made it clear that the survivor was never going to be the same because of the way he described the feelings and emotions of the soldier. I think that the aurthor is going to publish the second book of the series soon.
