Small Steps

Small steps was a very intresting book.
This book is followed by the book 'Holes'.
After being released from Camp Green Lake, Armpit finds a new job, digging a trentch along the side of the yard of a house, that belonged to a woman called Cherry Lane. He spends time with a ten year old girl Ginny.
Armpit was not digging forever until X-ray, who also got released from the camp came to ask him to increase the amount of money he was getting from working twice as much. Armpit agreed, but he didn't like the plan X-ray was planning. The plan was to give six hundred dollars to buy tickets for Kaira DeLeon's concert and sell the tickets. Armpit went with the plan, even if he wasn't happy with it.
Days went by, but this plan didn't work as they planned, though as the day of the concert came near, they started selling the tickets.
Armpit goes to the concert with Ginny and meets Kaira and gets to know each other because X-ray has caused a big problem selling fake tickets. Armpit and Kaira tries to contact each other which gets complicated.
While the two of them were having a good time everywhere, the police was trying to find, who was selling the fake tickets.
At the end, Armpit and Kaira breaks up but even though they were far away from each other, Armpit still hears her beautiful voice in the radio.
